Crossroads GPS Launches New TV Ads on Economy, Spending in Four States

New ads start with major broadcast buys in Nebraska, Montana, Missouri and Massachusetts.

WASHINGTON – Crossroads Grassroots Policy Strategies (Crossroads GPS) today released a new round of TV ads focused on the economy, jobs, wasteful stimulus spending and government regulations in four key states.

The new buys will run for two weeks and total nearly $1.1 million across the five states on broadcast TV and with targeted internet placements.  Ads begin running today in Massachusetts, Missouri, Montana, and Nebraska.

  • The Massachusetts ad, “Champion,” can be viewed here .
  • The Missouri ad, “14,” can be viewed here.
  • The Montana ad, “His Own Words,” can be viewed here.

“Barack Obama is focusing his ire on Congress – but the real culprit of bad policy, job loss and mounting debt is his own liberal-run U.S. Senate,” said Crossroads GPS president Steven Law. “President Obama and his liberal allies in the Senate have failed to create jobs, and instead created mounds of new debt and red tape, and these ads are designed to shed light on what’s really going on in Washington.”

This latest Crossroads GPS initiative comes one day after the launch of a new ad targeting liberal U.S. Rep. Leonard Boswell (D-Iowa). Crossroads GPS has invested nearly $20 million on issue advocacy in 2011.

Crossroads GPS is a policy and grassroots advocacy organization that is committed to educating, equipping and mobilizing millions of American citizens to take action on the critical economic and legislative issues that will shape our nation’s future.
