Crossroads GPS Launches New TV Ad in Wisconsin Targeting Tammy Baldwin’s Extreme Tax-and-Spend Agenda

Ad to air in Wisconsin for one week backed by $1.2 million buy

WASHINGTON – Crossroads Grassroots Policy Strategies (GPS) today announced a new TV ad in Wisconsin, supported by a $1.2 million total buy, that targets Tammy Baldwin’s extreme tax-and-spend agenda.

The new ad starts today and will air on local broadcast and cable networks.  The spot, titled “Stamp,” can be viewed here:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Og6ip6MKLv4

“Tammy Baldwin has spent over a decade in the U.S. House being a rubberstamp for extreme tax-and-spend policies,” said Nate Hodson, Crossroads GPS Director of State and Regional Media Relations.  “Wisconsin families can’t afford the wasteful spending and high taxes of Baldwin’s extreme agenda, which is why nonpartisan publications agree that Baldwin is the most far-left member of the U.S. House.”

Since she was elected to Congress, Tammy Baldwin voted for over a trillion dollars in new government spending, including the Wall Street bailout, the failed stimulus, and millions of dollars in other pork-barrel projects.  Baldwin also supports higher taxes on small businesses and the new health care tax which will tax 4 million middle class families.  The nonpartisan publication National Journal ranked Tammy Baldwin as the most liberal member of the U.S. House of Representatives in 2010.
