Crossroads GPS Launches TV Ad in NY-19 Targeting Julian Schreibman’s Support for Cuts to Medicare Spending

Ad supported with $461,000 buy

WASHINGTON – Crossroads Grassroots Policy Strategies (GPS) today announced a new TV ad in New York’s Nineteenth Congressional District supported by a $461,000 total buy.  The spot targets Julian Schreibman’s support for ObamaCare, which cuts more than $700 billion in Medicare spending and imposes a new tax on middle class families.

The new ad starts September 29 and will air on local cable and broadcast networks.  The spot, titled “Focus,” can be viewed here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D1YhLLqDfE0.

“Julian Schreibman’s vision for New York is out-of-focus with his support for $700 billion in cuts to Medicare spending and a massive new tax on the middle class,”  said Nate Hodson, Crossroads GPS Director of State and Regional Media Relations.  “New York families can’t afford the more expensive health care costs and higher taxes of Schreibman’s agenda.”

Julian Schreibman has said that ObamaCare was a “positive change” for health care, despite its cuts to Medicare.  The law slashes $716 billion in Medicare spending, and it empowers a board of unelected bureaucrats to make health care decisions for seniors.
