Crossroads GPS Launches TV Issue Ad in North Carolina Focused on Obamacare Deceptions

New ad spotlights promise made by President Obama and Senator Kay Hagan in order to pass Obamacare, and the need to make good on that promise

WASHINGTON – Today, Crossroads Grassroots Policy Strategies (Crossroads GPS) announced a new issue ad that will run for four weeks on TV in North Carolina to frame the debate on Obamacare.

The new ad will air in North Carolina for a total buy of $3,550,000 starting on Tuesday, May 20. The spot, which can be viewed here, details the deception performed by President Obama and Senator Kay Hagan in order to pass Obamacare: a promise that North Carolinians could keep their healthcare plan if they liked it. A high resolution download of the ad is available upon request.

“What Kay Hagan and Barack Obama said about Obamacare not only turned out to be false, it had devastating policy consequences on North Carolinians,” said Paul Lindsay, communications director for Crossroads GPS. “We hope this ad continues the serious debate about the effects that Obamacare is having on small businesses and families throughout the state.”

Crossroads GPS is a policy and grassroots advocacy organization that is committed to educating, equipping and mobilizing millions of American citizens to take action on the critical economic and legislative issues that will shape our nation’s future in the years ahead.
