If you're a college student or recent graduate, Senator Landrieu is holding your future hostage.

President Obama and the majority of the House of Representatives agree we must have  a long-term bipartisan plan to give America's college students relief on their student loans, but Sen. Landrieu voted instead to put partisan posturing ahead of a broadly supported solution.

This past week, Sen. Landrieu broke with more reasonable Senate colleagues to support the Senate’s boss, Harry Reid, and his partisan blockade of long-term student loan reform.   As a result, your interest rates for student loans rose to 6.8% on July 1st.

College education is expensive.  It’s a serious problem, demanding bipartisan solutions. This shouldn’t be something that politicians exploit. It should be an issue that we tackle and solve in a constructive way.

Call Senator Landrieu at (202) 224-3121 and tell her to stop playing politics with your future.  Demand a  bipartisan solution to the student loan crisis today.
