Crossroads GPS Launches New TV Ad in Iowa Targeting Leonard Boswell’s Support of Obamacare

TV spot urges Iowans to tell Leonard Boswell to stop supporting the Obama-Pelosi health care plan

WASHINGTON – Crossroads Grassroots Policy Strategies (GPS) today launched a new issue ad urging Iowans to contact Rep. Leonard Boswell’s about his support of the Obama-Pelosi healthcare plan which specifically harms seniors.

The TV ad, “Pea-losi,” will air in the Des Moines, IA and Omaha, NE markets over the next two weeks for a total buy of $150,000.  You can watch the ad here:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ethO2CdWWkc

“Leonard Boswell’s support of the Obama-Pelosi health care plan hurts Iowa seniors with massive cuts to Medicare and by threatening their access to care,” said Nate Hodson, Crossroads GPS director of state and regional media relations.  “When it comes to health care, Iowans should tell Leonard Boswell to stop attacking seniors by partnering with Obama and Pelosi.”

The new ad continues the theme of an earlier issue spot in Iowa, entitled “Peas,” which targeted Boswell’s support of Obama’s failed stimulus plans.  Crossroads GPS has spent more than $300,000 on TV issue ads in Iowa’s Third District since October 25th.
