TV spot urges Iowans to tell Leonard Boswell to stop his out-of-control spending
WASHINGTON – Crossroads Grassroots Policy Strategies (GPS) today launched a new issue ad urging Iowans to contact Rep. Leonard Boswell’s about his reckless spending record which has surged the national debt.
The TV ad, “Balloon,” will air in the Des Moines, IA and Omaha, NE markets starting today through March 7th for a total buy of $77,000. You can watch the ad here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=myO98FkQcvs
“America’s debt has ballooned to an all-time high thanks to Leonard Boswell’s support of President Obama’s wasteful stimulus, government bailouts, and Obamacare,” said Nate Hodson, Crossroads GPS director of state and regional media relations. “This issue ad urges Iowans to tell Leonard Boswell to come back to reality and stop supporting Obama’s wasteful Washington spending.”
The new ad follows two earlier issue spots, “Peas” and “Pea-losi,” which targeted Boswell’s support of Obama’s failed stimulus plans and Obamacare. Crossroads GPS has spent more than $370,000 on issue ads in IA-03 since October 25, 2011.
